Yajaira Malavé transitioned from the conservatory to the DJ booth and has become one of the leading figures in Madrid’s vibrant club scene.

With her technique and mastery of various disciplines, Yahaira has performed at some of the country’s most significant festivals, including Primavera Sound, Off Sónar, BBK Live, BIME, FIB Benicàssim, Brunch Electronik, Electrolvnch…

Yajaira’s captivating presence has graced a diverse array of venues across Spain, Europe, and Latin America. From the iconic Sala Apolo to the intimate Dabadaba, she has left her mark on stages big and small.
She has also had notable performances at the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao and the Grammy Awards.

Her sets feature a broad range of underground influences: house to jacking house, UK sounds, indie dance, dark disco, 90s, rave, and trance. She also incorporates touches of acid and techno, giving her a unique groove and a distinctive, easily recognizable style.
In Madrid, she’s the promoter of Gilda Club, one of the city’s most established parties, and acts as the musical director at Gilda Haus, one of the capital’s finest hot spots. In Cantabria, she plays as resident DJ at the meteoric club TRVZT.

Her latest EP, released with Chilean producer JGR through Melómana Records, includes a unique collaboration with Mexican artist Wolf, owner of Phisica Records. The EP topped Beatport’s best indie dance charts. Additionally, they recently released a new track with the Mexican label Bonkers.
Yahaira has also launched a remix of Digital 21 & Stefan Olsdal on Awal Recordings, showcasing her reach and growing influence in the scene.
