Seasunday is a band that blends the raw energy of Madrid’s underground scene with the poetic grit of Irish punk. Their debut EP, Letter to Agneta, released in February 2026, introduced listeners to fuzzy guitars, energetic basslines, and emotionally charged vocals.

Their songs channel the spirit of Lavapiés, Madrid ‘s multicultural neighbourhood they call home, where sunlight and street noise influence their sound. At the same time, they reach back to the singer’s Irish roots, drawing on themes of rebellion and melancholy.

With an upcoming second EP, the band are carving out a distinctive space drawing inspiration from the history of Irish punk and the rock traditions that define Madrid’s underground scene, proving that when two musical cultures collide, the result can be something special.
