The bond with the music of JGR (Julián García-Reyes) in his native Chile has extended for two decades. In 2005, he took his first steps as a DJ, quickly gaining prominence, which led him to perform on the most essential stages in the country, such as the Fauna Primavera, Earthdance, Creamfields, and Mysteryland festivals, as well as co-founding the Fun Haus party and playing in various countries in Latin America. Now based in Madrid, JGR is a regular at parties and clubs in the Spanish capital and makes appearances in Argentina, Mexico, Colombia, and Germany, among others.

His debut as a producer came in February 2020 with “Sideral,” a three-track EP of original tracks released on the German label Emerald & Doreen. In September, he followed it up with “Aire,” his second EP, which Daniel Monaco and Aleito remixed. Also that same year, he shared a Soundcloud edit he made in collaboration with fellow Chilean Nicolás Castro of The Alan Parsons Project classic “Eye in the Sky.” He released his third EP, “Canalla,” on the Spanish label Espacio Cielo. In 2021, he released “Soda” under the Panal Records label, “Spiritual Crocodiles” on the French label Esthétique, and a remix for Mexican artist Introverso. In 2022, “Silk Android” was released on the Berlin-based label ODD Pleasures, where he also released his fourth EP, “Rocket Trip.” In 2023, he released his fifth EP, “Fechorías,” in collaboration with Spanish DJ Yahaira, under the Melómana Records label, “Awaken” on the Mexican label Bonkers, and remixes for the Maleante Records and Logical Records labels.

Years of spinning house, disco, and slow-paced psychedelic music have led to a style that comfortably fits into the current landscape. It has nuances ranging from Indie Dance, Electro, House, and Acid, with a predominantly dark sound and powerful bass lines.
