Namibia’s very own Gina Jeanz, a prodigious music producer, DJ, and songwriter, has become renowned for her electrifying DJ sets and captivating productions.

Her exceptional skills and versatility have have cemented her reputation as one of the leading global figures out of the Namibian music scene. Her daring and innovative approach to her craft is what makes her stand out as she effortlessly transcends genres.

Her classical training instilled a deep understanding of melody, rhythm, and composition, which she seamlessly integrates into her production. She further honed her musical talents while living in Cape Town, South Africa, for 12 years, enriching her artistic vision and broadening her musical influences. Drawing inspiration of rhythms and sounds from the African diaspora, she flows through the sounds of Electronica to the Deep vibrations of Afro House and more creating unique sonic soundscapes that have captivated audiences around the world.

Gina Jeanz’s independent debut album, Lucid Theory, released in 2021 landed her a spot on Billboard’s Best New Dance Tracks on her production for “100ml”. She has graced the stages of prestigious festivals and clubs such as Caprices, UNUM, Amnesia Ibiza, Montreux Jazz Festival, Koko Electronic, Rocking the Daisies, and Afropunk. Her talent has also been recognized by music platforms including Beatport, DJ Mag, Soulection, Earmilk, Notion, Resident Advisor, Rinse FM, and BBC 1xtra to name a few.

Continuing to expand her influence, Gina is passionate about giving back to the music community, sharing her expertise with aspiring musicians, specifically women who make up a fraction of the industry.
